Today has seen a flurry of discussions and votes across many of the urbo's Local People's Committees and within the Area Peoples Committee. The people have been choosing names for the various new buildings that have been constructed across the Urbo and the Area Peoples Committee have been debating and voting on a proposition put forward that would see a joint venture Casino be built in the Urbo. At the time of writing, only one hour is remaining until voting closes and we expect the results to be announced at some point over the weekend.

The results are in! Here is a brief roundup of Fridays voting results.
At the Areo level, the committee debated and voted almost unanimously against the proposition to enter into a joint venture with a casino operator. The motion was voted against by 9 to just 2 votes in favour of it.
Next we move to the Local People's Committee 1, here they were voting to decide on the name of the new cemetery that had been built. The suggestions and results were; The Great Garden of Remembrance (obtained 7 votes), The People's Garden of Remembrance (also obtained 7 votes) and, the winner, The Universal Garden of Remembrance (which was able to obtain 8 votes).
The LPC 7 had a vote to decide on the name of the conference building that had also been recently built. The results have caused a tie between two of the three choices; The Great Hall of The People and The All People's Conference Centre both received 9 votes each and so a run off vote will be taking place on Monday to break the deadlock.
Lastly, LPC 5 had two votes, one to decide on the name of the new primary school and second to decide on the name of the new clinic that had recently been built. The two suggestions for the clinics name, The Al-Rhida Medical Clinic and The Al-Antaki Medical Clinic both received an astounding 9 votes each. It was decided that more debates and possibly more name suggestions should be added before a decision is made. The primary school however was voted to have the name; The Fabulinus Primary School after that choice received 9 votes versus 4 and 2 votes for the other two suggestions.
